People’s Park Project
In UC Berkeley Lab 55 we worked on a digital heritage project in an effort to make informative digital platforms for users to view interactive historical data of Berkeley’s People’s park prior to planned student housing construction.
Data was collected and evaluated to optimize information on the historical residential area prior to Berkeley People’s Park.
My individual task for this project was meeting with project stakeholders in order to align our research with their historical data. I also created our lab’s research magazine using Adobe InDesign to demonstrate what our lab’s research consisted of. As my final task for this lab, I worked on redesigning the lab’s website using Adobe XD, and WordPress.
I decided to start with abstract laddering to narrow down the problem. This allowed me to frame and re-frame the how might we problem statement.

Stakeholder Map
I decided to create a stakeholder map in order to visualize and make aware of the parties that were involved within the project scope. I believe a stakeholder map is important to give the project important valuable insights into who is being impacted in the design process.
Research Magazine

I mocked up wireframes for a perspective mobile application. This mobile application was designed for students and Berkeley communities to become informed about the People’s Park project.
